The environment surrounding our business is ever-changing and grows more complicated with each passing age.
Knowledge of the past alone is not enough to sustain growth; the cultivation of technical knowledge and wisdom are now increasingly in demand.
Businesses seek to exist within society and hold to society's ethics and values.
Business in the IT world moves at an alarming rate, making it necessary to form strategic partnerships and build an international value network.
At LIM, we utilize key partnerships -- at home and abroad -- with businesses and educational institutions to swiftly bring our amazing products to the market and earn our spot as a leading company.
In addition, our attractive rewards system helps us bring in and maintain the exceptional talent that it takes to succeed.
With our unique technology based in artificial intelligence, we seek to deliver new and exciting products that expand minds and improve lives.
LIM Corporation derives its name from the English initialism "LIM" which stands for: Leadership In Microsoftware. Our name carries the strong will of our founder, Naohisa Takezuka, and his desire to "lead the microsoftware industry." It is a name which any employee -- when facing a problem or standing at a crossroads -- can look to with pride and know they are part of something grand.
"A leading company growing on the global market."
This is the corporate image to which LIM has adhered since its founding.
It is a statement that LIM will always place itself on the forefront of the industry, utilizing our core competency of AI-based software technology.
Our priority has always been to secure a top share in the industry. Our will to succeed is the driving force that has propelled us beyond our rivals. Healthy competition with our competitors keeps us pushing the limits of our technology and bringing new developments to the table.
We stand as a company that is "pro-independence" and do not belong to any affiliate companies.
As an independent entity, we can work tirelessly with clients to develop new products and maintain the discretion they need before they are prepared to release information to the public.
In the software industry, companies with affiliate ties may find themselves restricted when it comes to providing new technology or products.
We operate for our clients -- and them alone -- affording us freedom and dedication in our work.
This is our duty and our promise to you.
In the United States, cooperation between the industrial and education sectors is encouraged as a policy to boost the industry's competitive power. Japan is 20 years behind the times in this regard. Although legislation was enacted in 1998 to promote industry-university cooperation, there have yet to be any examples to which the Japanese can point as success stories.
Japan stands as number two in research and development expenditures, and number one in number of patents registered. However, we are far behind in the management sector at 49th in entrepreneurialism and 48th in commercialization.
So, what does this mean for Japan?
While our country has invested plenty in technological developments, it has yet to fully realize the necessity of fostering talented individuals who turn these technologies into viable businesses. There is no policy in place to encourage graduates to start up ventures that push this technology forward and apply it in unique ways.
A company may have superior technology and know-how, but without a business strategy, it is impossible to stand up against international competition. Therefore, we perform fundamental research into the commercialization of key technology -- a stance we will carry with us as we continue to grow and evolve.
